More About Me: Cintia Guerrero Castañón

My full name is Cintia Guerrero Castañón and I'm sad to say that I just recently found out my full name due to a minor incident. I came from the longest high school name you will ever here. I came from the School of Business and Management at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center. I can’t believe my High School Diploma even had room to even fit that whole entire name.

My Friends and I at the Lego Store at North Park Mall

My friends and close acquaintances call me Pikachu, Cinchachu, or even Cincha. I got all these nicknames because I just LOVE Pokémon (hence the . The two most important things to me in this world are my family and friends. I don’t know where I would be now without them constantly pushing me to strive and never EVER give up on my main goals in life.

With that being said, if you can tell, I live through my own expectations; not others. As I said on my “About Me” Section, I’m not the typical girl; in fact I’m almost a guy. When I was little I wouldn’t play with dolls like the rest of the girls did. I would either play with my Sega or Nintendo 64 (I still do). My favorite game on Sega was Sonic and on Nintendo 64 was Goldeneye 007.

Oh how I miss those days when your biggest trouble was getting caught by your parents doing something mischievous around the house. Now it’s about bills getting paid and taking care of this and that, it’s ridiculous! The amount of responsibility has increased, but I think I’m ready and up for it. So life… BRING IT!

  1. Great start, Cynthia. Interesting that you say that you are "almost a guy". Definitions shift with time and I think our cultural definition of "girl" is one of those things that shifts! It's become a more open category than in the past.

Be sure to proofread - there are a few hiccups in your second paragraph. I'm also curious about the name thing...you bring it up in the first paragraph but never let us in on the mystery!

    Love the blog title!
