The Importance of How to Deliver a Presentation

The presenter has to have a clean and clear presentation, or the presented content he/she delivers will be impossible to absorb.  For anyone (if not everyone) who has attended a conference, knows two things about presentations.  They either can be very engaging and entertaining, getting100% of their audience’s attention. Or they can have presentations that totally waste their time.

Out of the 3 presentations that we went over in my ATEC 2321 class last week, I think that I liked the Lawrence Lessig: Corrupt Congress a Farm League for K Street Lobbyists presentation the best. Why, you may ask? Although the other 2 presentations were well done, the Prezi Presentation only gave me a headache with the zooming out and zooming in features; while the Universities in the "Free" Era - SXSW 2010 Presentation was to simple on it's visuals.

The Lawrence Lessig Presentation seemed to have been worked on for a while.  The person delivering the presentation knows what he's talking about as the slides go on to the next. It's a good example of how a presentation should be delivered and digested.

A well-written paper is usually the one that has the higher impact on it’s readers than a paper that isn’t written as well.  Same thing goes for presentations. In order to have a successful presentation, you’re going to have to have the time and dedication to practice and type a well written PowerPoint Presentation.
