Woogie to the Rescue!

The urge of a child wanting to play with anything it can get its hands on is troublesome –especially if it involves something expensive or involves in self injury. Product safety is one of the parents’ most top priorities.  Parents want to do everything possible to keep their products in top condition, but most importantly keep their children safe. That’s where Griffin comes into play with its new addition from its Iceberg Kids collection, Woogie.

Although Woogie is only useful for iPhone and iTouch users, it’s a start to protecting both the appliance and the child from getting damaged and hurt, respectively.
“Kids are getting more and more comfortable with tech and social media these days — remember the 2-year-old and the iPad, and the fact that 92% of toddlers have an online presence? Toys like the Woogie only serve to indicate that the next generation of early adopters are adopting, well, even earlier. And to think — the most sophisticated toy I had as a kid was the ever-terrifying Teddy Ruxpin. How times have changed.” –Mashable

The Woogie has gotten good reviews and I don’t disagree. Its kid and appliance friendly. Who wouldn’t want a Woogie? I’d recommend anyone with children to get it.

Most of us think that our upcoming generations are only getting dumber by the increase in technology when in reality they’re only getting smarter. Kids are finding out how to get into things way faster. It is very important that parents learn about the new technology and media that is out for grasps to protect their children.  The Woogie Product is a mere solution to a big problem that society faces today. It brings up other problems like Pornography, Cyber bullying, Chat Rooms, etc. It’s up for the parent to step up their game and protect their child from any harm – Physically or Emotionally.

  1. I had no idea that this product existed. I used to nanny for a tech-savvy family and their small children were always get all types of food on their iphones and ipad, not to mention dropping them all the time! I'm glad to see companies coming out with kid-friendly products to handle the increasing amount of families owning such products. I'm sure we will see more of these commodities as a result out on the market.
